Ambassador

The Nageela Ambassador Program is the collaboration of Camp Nageela Midwest with Nageela families to accomplish these objectives:

1- Identify recruitment opportunities within each member’s community and help develop a strategic plan to reach potentials by identifying youth groups and synagogues that will allow a presentation, areas to place promotional material, local families that would like more information and/or are interested in an informal meeting with the camp staff, etc.

2- Avail themselves to potential families that would like to learn more about camp from a fellow parent’s perspective. Camp Nageela will put such families in contact with you and we appreciate you taking the time to speak with them.

3- Take part of the Nageela parent focus group meetings to help Nageela determine parents’ expectations and desires when making changes and decisions regarding camp policy. These meetings will take place through conference calls and group emails a few times over the year.

4- Camp Nageela Midwest will also make requests of the Ambassador Committee as needed throughout the year; including helping organize local transportation for camp and/or a shabbaton, helping staff Visiting Day in camp, etc. Camp Nageela Midwest understands and respects that not all committee members will be able to respond for any of a variety of reasons.

Camp Nageela Midwest is ready to work with you to make this happen. Camp Nageela will supply you with all necessary promotional material, send a representative to lead any presentation and/or open house, and cover all expenses for all presentations and meetings.

Camp Nageela Midwest recognizes the active role that your family will be taking. In appreciation, all ambassador families are invited to spend a weekend in Camp Nageela Midwest this summer. Additionally, all new campers that you recruit for Nageela Summer 2012 will earn you a $100 refer-a-friend credit towards your child(ren)’s tuition.
