Rabbi Nosson Factor

Rabbi Nosson Factor of Chicago, Illinois is the Interim Director of Camp Nageela Midwest. Rabbi Factor grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and studied in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Chicago.  Formerly a division head of CNM Boys and Assistant Director of Camp Nageela Midwest. Rabbi Factor has been actively involved in Camp Nageela for the past three years.

Rabbi Michael Rovinsky

Rabbi Michael Rovinsky of St. Louis, MO is the Director of Campers of CNM Boys. Rabbi Mike, as he is known, is originally from Dallas, Texas, and is the director of St. Louis NCSY as well as a certified Mohel who has performed thousands of circumcisions. Rabbi Mike has years of camping experience and has coordinated programs for thousands of children and adults. Rabbi Mike takes a personal interest in each and every camper and helps ease adjustments to camp life. Rabbi Mike is also the parent liaison for parents that have questions about their son(s) in camp.

Mrs Kraindel Pinkus

Mrs Kraindel Pinkus of Chicago, Illinois is the Director of Campers of CNM Girls. Over the past 35 years, Mrs. Pinkus has been involved with many organizations, educating and assisting thousands of children and adults. In camp, Mrs. Pinkus works with each girl individually to ease adjustments to camp life and maximize every child’s success in camp. Mrs. Pinkus also works as the parent liaison for parents about their daughter(s) in camp.

Rabbi Meir Kranczer

Rabbi Meir Kranczer of Detroit, Michigan is the Head Counselor of CNM Boys. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Rabbi Kranczer has been head counselor since day one. A teacher during the year, Rabbi Kranczer understands what will give the boys a summer of a lifetime. Rabbi Kranczer is the first voice that campers hear in the morning and gives camp its ongoing heartiness and energy. Always with a different costume, Rabbi Kranczer has a magnetic personality and is always surrounded by many happy campers.

Mrs.Chaya Aviva Katz

Mrs.Chaya Aviva Katz of Columbus, Ohio is the CNM Girls Program Director. Mrs. Katz creates and directs many events in the Jewish High School in Columbus, and has brought many new and exciting developments to Nageela over the past two summers, including the new Staff in Training program for girls completing 11th grade. Mrs. Katz will also be participating in year-round events and Shabbatons and will be our local Columbus representative. 

Yosef Sandweiss

R’ Yosef Sandweiss, our Boys Program Director, is a lifelong ‘Camp Guy’ who is excited to be a part of CNM! Having spent every summer at camp since he was nine years old, Yosef has moved up the ladder from camper to counselor to head staff, with some minor stops in the camp kitchen, tech office and creative arts and night activity departments. Currently going into his sixth summer with us at Camp Nageela Midwest, Yosef’s wide range of camp experiences ensures that our program will be top-notch. With his meticulous planning and organizational skills, and his creative genius, Yosef is always coming up with exciting new trips, activities and special days, which are sure to guarantee that every camper is smiling from ear-to-ear!

In addition to directing our Boys Summer Program, Yosef also runs our Boys Shabbatons throughout the year, and coordinates our weekly after school jChill program.
